Birdwell has been building badass boardshorts in California since 1961 when founder Carrie Birdwell Mann turned her living room into one of the original surf shops. This iconic surf brand’s humble beginnings and commitment to American craftsmanship are the reasons we partnered to build a very limited number of GR1s and 300 Birdwell Boardshorts - all proudly made in the USA.

Birdwell Beach Britches was one of the first businesses specializing in surfwear and has been making the same high-quality, purpose-built boardshorts with reliable, durable construction since the sixties when Carrie Birdwell Mann launched the brand from her Southern California home.
