EVERGLADES CAMO COLLECTION

Like a Python Hunter, Train for Adventure

300,000 Burmese pythons are wreaking havoc in Florida's Everglades, threatening to erase the wildlife that once flourished there. With relentless determination, people like Tina and Garry Petty dedicate countless hours under the cover of darkness to combat this invasive species.

Capturing these pythons requires strength, stamina, and grit. The hunt is treacherous – through rugged terrain, wading in knee-deep waters, overturning rocks and logs, all while keeping an eye out for alligators, venomous snakes, and other hidden dangers—often in areas devoid of trails or cell service.

Inspired by the grit of Python Hunters, this collection is built for functional fitness and adventure.

“The Burmese python is an ambush predator. It lays in wait by a body of water for prey to come by, quickly bites it, constricts it, and consumes it whole.”

- Tina Petty, Burmese Python Removal Specialist

Growing up in the Everglades, Tina Petty used to see hundreds of animals—now, she sees fewer than 10. With over 20 years in child welfare and 40+ GORUCK events completed, Streeter is no stranger to tough challenges, but catching Burmese pythons demands even more strength and fitness.

Burmese Pythons were first introduced to South Florida in the 1980’s, thanks to the exotic pet trade centered in Miami. Unfortunately, this species can grow up to 26 feet long, leading pet owners to release them into the wild once they became too large. The situation escalated dramatically after Hurricane Andrew in 1992, which destroyed a breeding facility and set the stage for an ecological crisis. The invasive species has now driven bobcat populations down by an astonishing 87%, raccoons by 97%, and obliterated possums and foxes entirely.s to the Airborne jumpers to those who stormed the beaches.
