Heavy Duty Padded Handles

Competitors either fold webbing onto itself or they rubberize the handles. Our handles are the best on the market because we take the time to reinforce neoprene padding into every handle we build. This provides a more secure, and comfortable grip that you can hold longer. Webbing digging into your hands should not be the reason you have to drop your sandbag, but when handles are webbing only, it will be. And when handles are rubberized, they get slippery when wet and over time, the rubber breaks down and to us that's unacceptable. We prioritize the handle construction so much because we believe they are the most important feature on the sandbags since you grab them with your hands every time you use them.

Complete Bundle

Each sandbag contains a filler bag that secures the sand inside of it with a triple velcro closure. This filler bag then fits snuggle inside the outer shell.

Special forces grade materials

1000 Denier Cordura is the preferred material for all Special Forces Rucks because it is resistant to the rigors of everything, including war. It's tried and tested.

Superior Construction

Double pass stitching at every seam (this requires two passes with a sewing machine) and box stitch reinforcement at the handles, making our exercise sandbags stronger than any other on the market.

Triple Locking Velcro Closure

The filler bags have a triple locking velcro closure system, which is an upgrade from our previous versions with only a double closure. This ensures sand will definitely not escape.

Interlocking seam on filler bags

Filler bag seams are now sewn up the middle with a French style seam that has 3x the stitches as our previous filler bags. It uses an interlocking system of fabric and seams to make sure that the sand does not escape. The seam up the middle also alleviates any previous pressure points. When you toss a sandbag and it lands, all the pressure of the sand pushes outwards. Speaking more practically about our testing, we dropped these off our 45 foot office building and they’re just fine.

perfect balance of versatility and portability

"I travel a lot for work. In trying to find a way to beat all those great excuses for not working out, I landed on sandbags over a decade ago. Just empty the filler and stick the bag into your carry on. Light weight, folds flat. Even pack clothes into it if you like. When I arrive at my destination I find a hardware store, beach, park or sand volleyball court and fill up. When the trip's over I return the sand unharmed. I've done this from Moscow to Taipei, West Africa to the pacific islands. There is no better way to make sure you stay in shape on the road. And when I'm home sandbags are still in my workout armory--there's just more of them."

"Tough, solid sandbag system. My only critique is that the filler bag does fit "snug" as advertised. . . Even when full, it doesn't fill all the space in the outer bag. Also, my gear arrived with condensation in the clear plastic bags. Luckily, no mold was found, but this could've been an issue."

Is this workout gear, or is it Cool Tough Guy luggage?

"I worked with a 60 lb bag and thought I should work up. Yeah, maybe not, but maybe so. It’s good, having the 80 lb bag. I loaded it with gravel and rubber mulch (saw that advice in a video) and stiffened it with a pool noodle (no kidding. ) It’s… perfect. Some days, it’s too much. Some days, it’s my doorway to Getting Better. Try it. Or, if nothing else, it’s an awesome new bit of luggage for your Cool Dude flight."

"Easy to fill and holds the sand. I use the 60lb bag 3 days per week for 5 mile rucks alternating shoulders and front carry. It doesn’t slide on the shoulder when wet and balances well while shuffling along. Don't Be Cheap

"If you want quality craftsmanship, durability, portability and ease of use, you don't need any other sandbags. My teammates bought other sandbags (from reputable businesses) at the same time and their sandbags are already unusable so they come to borrow my GoRuck bags. And with all the use, abuse, chalk and sweat these have taken my buddies are all amazed at how great they still look and perform. I recently bought a 20# for my kids and fun stuff. I use a 70% pea gravel 30% red rubber mulch filler so it takes a full insert bag almost overfull to get the weight so sand might be where you want to go. But the pea gravel and mulch appears to dry quick and when I check it hasn't molded or anything. The insert bags are amazing and hold the filler great. The outer bag with handles is extremely tough, versatile and doesn't tear up your hands. If you're looking for sand bags to last generations, I believe these are it. Get them now while they're in stock, they go fast."
