"The jacket is well made, handsome, and I want to love it. Fit is weird. I’m 5’9”, 180lb, fit build. Jacket throughout the body/torso is perfect, but a Medium is very tight throughout the shoulders. Can’t reach forward or upwards without restriction and pulling. A bit short on the sleeves. The Large is perfect in the upper body without looking loose or frumpy, but it’s very long in the torso. Build quality is still great, great jacket if it fits you."
"Too much hype for this thing in the product description. I love Goruck shoes but never tried their apparel, and I probably won't again. Not true to size and a really weird fit. No room in shoulders, sleeves are too short, there's no shoulder yoke so the fabric sticks up in an angle and does not sit on your shoulders, neck is awkwardly big and puffy and it's too long, zipped up goes all the way to half of my face but it doesn't zips all the way without being too tight, and if you try to folder over, you end up with the left over collar looking ridiculous, absolutely not worth 175 bucks. I received this today and I'm returning it tomorrow morning."
"Overall I like the jacket. I've been wearing it out in 0-20F weather and for the 5-10min I've been outside, I feel very warm with just this jacket. It's very comfortable and I think it will be durable especially on the elbows which is the main reason I have to buy new jackets. A couple of downsides for me: The fit is great through the arms and shoulders but feels fairly baggy around my torso. I'm athletic and have this problem with most clothes that I wear but I'd love to see an athletic fit option. Upon arrival, the fleece was shedding a lot. I washed it almost immediately to try to reduce the fluff getting everywhere which helped, but the green parts of the jacket are still obviously showing black threads that shed from the fleece. Hopefully that goes away eventually."
"Love this jacket. Very warm. Like the history. I have an all black version. I bought both L and XL. . the XL was a lot larger so my brother benefited. Everything great but the XL in ranger green was pilling like crazy. I used a cashmere comb but really a lint remover got rid of it. On the L one. . no pilling. Oh well. I will get years of use out of this when it’s cold and in the mountains."
"Love this jacket! Brings me back to the Army issued black polartec fleece jacket I was issued in Korea. Reading the reviews i normally wear a XL. Im short and stocky at 5’6” and 200lbs, but the Large fits perfect!"

"The jacket as an XL fit me perfectly, I am 6' and weigh 215 lbs. It is very well made and very warm. I wore it with a short sleeve shirt in 41-degree weather, and it was toasty. Like other reviews, it would have been nice to have a drawstring at the bottom because it seemed very loose and "open", but this didn't seem to matter in the cold, if there was wind it could have been a different story. Overall, I am very satisfied and do recommend it."
