July 10–11, we’ll ruck the coast, the streets, and everything in between, with a home base that sets the tone for the whole weekend. Every route starts and finishes with your people — salt air, sunshine, and that SoCal edge.
On-site, our partners will be rolling deep with activations and challenges. You’ll try (and fail) to drink all the beer and clear out the food trucks, surrounded by the best community anywhere.
It’s our kind of fun — San Diego style.

CITY RUCKING SERIES
GORUCK is The Rucking Company and we have executed over 10,000 rucking events since 2010, empowering a global community of ruckers. The City Rucking Series is a great way to join GORUCK Nation, to meet people who live our way of life, and to explore your city or a new one on foot.
How it works:
A GORUCK Cadre will give you the waypoints that comprise your route
You'll have time for some quick route navigation before stepping off
Ruck it solo or with friends - up to you!
Refuel anywhere you want along the route
When you successfully complete your City Ruck, your Cadre will hand you a cold beer and a patch that will never be for sale

Kick off the Endless Summer Event Weekend with miles, community, and good times. Check out the start point for your San Diego City Ruck, link up with your crew, and earn the exclusive Shakeout Ruck patch - never for sale, only earned.
Rucking meets marathon. Take on 26.2 miles in 11 hours with a 10lb or 20lb rucksack. This isn’t just a race—it’s a mission. Push your limits, embrace the suck, and leave it all on the course.

The MOTHERUCKER 5K is a women-led ruck for women. Grab your rucksack or weighted vest (Spy Ruck is our ride or die), throw on your favorite band tee, and we'll ruck and dance together to tunes as we take over the mean streets with our well-intended badassery.

Embrace discomfort and build resilience with contrast therapy. Stay calm under pressure. Suffer well, recover stronger.
BEER MILE CHALLENGE
1 mile, 100lbs, 4 beers. Chug, ruck, repeat. Go all out and have fun with this heavy challenge. Scale the weight and get after it!

SKI RUCK CHALLENGE
Max-effort SkiErg challenge performed under load. Wear a ruck and ski for max calories as fast as you can. Simple. Heavy. Unforgiving. Capacity over comfort.
SANDBAG BURPEE CORNHOLE
Earn your throws. 10 sandbag burpees, then score big while your lungs are on fire. A fast, competitive & deceptively hard challenge.
KEG CHALLENGE
Master the awkward, unstable keg. Grab a buddy, share the weight, and don't drop it. Teamwork, grit & a little suffering required.
